Alright, here’s my ramble.
I discovered a company, Live Clean, the company is Canadian (and so am I, YAY!), and makes eco-friendly beauty products. I’m working through the stock pile I have of products which accumulated while I was attending University, so I’m slowly switching over to their products. Presently I’m using their shampoo and conditioner, both are 96%-98% made with plant based material.
So, I’m using the Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo and Fresh Water Moisturizing Conditioner. Both of these products are; biodegradable, SLS/Sulfate Free (shampoo), DEA Free (shampoo) Petroleum Free, Paraben Free, Phthalate Free, Phosphate free, Pure Vegan, Never been tested on animals, made with certified organic plant extracts, and come in a recyclable package (which is a bonus, since I sort of assumed the last brand I used had recyclable packages).
I have to say, I love the difference I’m noticing in my hair, and it’s only been about 2 weeks of using these products. I used to have horrible dandruff in the summer because of how dry it is outside, I just spent a week outside camping and didn’t have an issue. In short, I’ve noticed better scalp health, and softer, more manageable hair.
My ultimate goal is to use all Live Clean products. There’s a line of Body Moisturizers, Facial Cleaners, Facial Toners, Body Washes, Hand Soaps, Hair Stylers, and Professional Treatments for Damaged hair, as well as a Line for kids and infants.
If you’re interested in reducing your ecological footprint, I recommend these products. Check out the website and it can tell you where to find the product, at this time it seems they’re available across Canada and in select places in United States.
